Product description
This is an original, hand-signed etching by the Belgian artist Romain Malfliet. The work, titled "Begynhof Gent", depicts an atmospheric, tranquil street in the historic Ghent Beguinage, a subject Malfliet explored frequently.
The etching is printed on paper and then hand-colored, making each copy unique. This specific work is marked as "VI", indicating a luxury edition. The image is protected by a cream-colored passe-partout and framed in a simple, dark brown wooden frame that complements the earthy tones of the artwork.
The work is in very good condition, with bright colors and no visible damage to the paper. This etching is a beautiful example of Malfliet's mastery of graphic techniques and his ability to capture the serene atmosphere of historic Belgian cityscapes. It fits perfectly in both classic and modern interiors.
