These iconic pendant lamps, designed by Rolf Kruger for Staff Leuchten in the 1970s, are a beautiful example of Mid-Century Modern design. The distinctive 'bubble' structure of the glass ensures a unique light diffusion and makes this model a beloved collector's item.
The lamps are crafted from high-quality glass with a subtle smoky tint, combined with chrome accents. The textured surface creates a fascinating play of shadows on the walls when the lamp is lit. These specific pieces have a special provenance: they hung in the council chamber of the municipality of Zonhoven since 1970.
The overall condition is very good, retaining the original character and authentic finish. The glass globes are intact, and the chrome parts show a light patina befitting the age of the design.
