About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This is a vintage modular corner sofa by the German manufacturer Rolf Benz, dating from the 1990s. The design is a characteristic example of postmodernism from that period, characterized by its generous proportions and flexible arrangement. The sofa is upholstered in a deep blue suede-like fabric that accentuates its soft, rounded forms. The construction consists of several loose elements that together form a spacious corner arrangement, including a matching ottoman. A striking detail is the metal rail along the backrest, to which a round glass side table is attached. The sofa stands on cylindrical metal legs that give it a floating appearance. The overall condition of the sofa is good, in accordance with its age and use. The original upholstery has been preserved and shows a characteristic patina that contributes to its vintage look. The structure is solid, and all modular components are present and functional. With its considerable size and comfortable seating, this Rolf Benz corner sofa is a statement piece that fits perfectly into a spacious living room. Its modular nature offers various styling possibilities and makes it a versatile choice for a modern or eclectic interior.
