Product description
The Roger Capron glazed ceramic coffee table is much more than just a piece of furniture; it's a work of art that perfectly illustrates the talent of the master ceramist. Made on the Côte d'Azur, this table features 45 glazed tiles, each with a herbarium inlay. This feature lends the table an unrivalled authenticity and originality, making it a captivating centerpiece in any interior. Measuring 116 cm long, 42 cm wide and 30 cm high, this table is designed to offer both aesthetics and functionality. It blends easily into a variety of decor styles, from Provençal chalets to modern interiors and contemporary spaces. Glazed ceramic tiles are not only beautiful, but also robust, ensuring that this iconic piece stands the test of time without losing its lustre. Roger Capron, often dubbed the genius of contemporary ceramics, shared an affinity with other great artists of his time, including Pablo Picasso. Picasso influenced many artists, including Capron, who incorporated the bold, innovative spirit of his time into his creations. Capron was also responsible for decorating the prestigious Byblos Hotel in St. Tropez, a place that epitomizes luxury and chic on the French Riviera. This coffee table, part of his legacy, testifies to his exceptional know-how and commitment to craftsmanship. To own a Roger Capron coffee table is not only to acquire a piece of furniture, but also a piece of history, a conversation between past and present that illuminates spaces. Whether it's for an evening with friends, relaxing with a good book or showcasing other works of art, this table is a must-have. In this way, Roger Capron's glazed ceramic coffee table is not simply a functional object; it is a true expression of the Mediterranean culture, art and craftsmanship to which it pays homage, while reaffirming the importance of ceramics in contemporary design.
