Product description
This classic Scandinavian rocking chair showcases Tapiovaara’s well-known approach to functional modern design, combining clean lines with everyday comfort. The chair features a black painted wooden frame paired with a warm-toned solid wood seat, creating a balanced and timeless contrast.
The tall spindle backrest and gently curved armrests provide good support, while the rocking base adds a relaxed and practical element to the design. Its restrained yet distinctive form makes it easy to integrate into a variety of interiors, from modern and minimalist spaces to more traditional settings.
A well-executed example of Finnish mid-century design by one of the country’s most influential designers, suitable for both daily use and design-focused interiors.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. Structurally sound.
