Beautiful Navarra desk by the Italian design brand Riva 1920, crafted from solid walnut with an oiled finish.
Designed by C.R.&S. Riva 1920. The Navarra desk is characterized by its distinctive crossed wooden legs and beautiful traditional wood joints. This is the extended version with a raised section (H 95cm), two small drawers, and open compartments above the work surface, adding an architectural element to the design.
The desk is entirely made of solid walnut.
Purchased in 2012 and always used with care. The desk is in very good condition with a few light signs of wear consistent with its age. In the last two photos, you can see the light signs of use, the small damage on the work surface, and on the raised section at the top, you can see slight discoloration from a lamp that stood on it. Otherwise, the desk is in very good condition, and the solid walnut has acquired a beautiful natural patina over the years. The natural wood grain is beautifully visible and contributes to the character of the piece.
The construction is solid and the drawers function properly.
