Private sellerProduct description
This is a unique mixed-media wall Art piece by Scottish artist Richard Coley, who studied at the Glasgow School of Art. The piece, signed and dated '96, is a beautiful example of his work combining natural and industrial materials.
The Art piece is crafted from a mix of copper, bronze, and wood, mounted on a panel. The dimensions are approximately 81 cm high, 40 cm wide, and 8 cm deep. The metals have a rich, aged patina in brown, black, and green tones, forming a strong contrast with the organic wooden element cutting through the center of the composition. The style is abstract with clear brutalist influences.
The object is in good vintage condition. The patina and texture of the materials are an essential part of the artistic character and appearance of the work. This wall sculpture is a powerful statement piece that fits perfectly into an interior with an industrial, eclectic, or modern decor.
