Product description
The Ribbon armchair (model F582) was designed by Pierre Paulin in 1965-1966, and published by Artifort.
It is one of the classics of modern / Mid - Century design.
It is exhibited in the permanent collections of design museums such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
Iconic shape: a contoured, flowing ribbon that describes a continuous, almost sculptural curve, enveloping the body.
Inner structure in tubular steel with horizontal springs (for seat/back).
Upholstered in foam, covered with stretch fabric (Kvardrat).
Legs / base: lacquered pressed wood.
Dimensions: width ~ 100cm, depth ~ 78 cm, total height 70-72 cm.
Seat height: approx. 38-40 cm
