Product description
The Ribbon armchair (model F582) was designed by Pierre Paulin in 1965-1966 and produced by Artifort.
It is considered a classic of modern/mid-century design.
It is featured in the permanent collections of design museums, such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris.
Iconic form: a flowing, contoured ribbon that describes a continuous, almost sculptural curve while enveloping the body.
Internal structure: tubular steel with horizontal springs (for the seat/back).
Foam padding covered in stretch fabric (Kvardrat).
Base: lacquered pressed wood.
Dimensions: width ~ 100 cm, depth ~ 78 cm, overall height 70-72 cm.
Seat height: approximately 38-40 cm
