Product description
Rexite Nox Ipso — a freestanding designer coat rack made of brushed stainless steel, designed by Raul Barbieri for the Italian company Rexite. Fully crafted from AISI 304 stainless steel with a brushed finish, from the round base plate to the four arms at the top.
The design is built around a single central stem from which four arms spring, each ending in a flat disc. These discs are not merely decorative: they provide a wide support surface allowing a coat to drape over the shoulder rather than being distorted by a narrow hook. Below this sits a second cluster of smaller hooks for bags, scarves, or an umbrella. The round base, with a diameter of 41 cm, is heavy-duty and keeps the coat rack stable, even when fully loaded.
Rexite has been manufacturing furniture and accessories in Italy since 1968. The Nox line is their most understated series: everything is made of solid stainless steel, without plastic or visible fasteners. The transitions between the stem and the arms are finished smoothly. The Nox Ipso is the largest coat rack in that range. The Rexite logo is engraved on the base.
At 170 cm high, this is a coat rack that stands as a standalone object in the room, not a wall-mounted solution. Works well in a hallway, entrance, office, practice room, or showroom. The brushed stainless steel is moisture-resistant and does not yellow.
Condition: Very good. This model is still in production and costs € 1,262 including VAT new, with a delivery time of three to four weeks.
