Product description
Revolt chairs, designed by the influential Dutch industrial designer Friso Kramer for Ahrend. This model, originally introduced in 1953, is an icon of Dutch Design and is praised for its functionality and innovative construction. The Revolt chair was revolutionary for its time due to the use of a folded sheet steel frame instead of traditional tubes, resulting in a lighter, stronger, and more economical design. The seat and backrest are made of durable plastic, here in a bright white color. The metal frame has a light gray or off-white finish, creating a subtle two-tone effect. These materials not only make the chair robust but also easy to maintain. These chairs are vintage originals and are in good condition consistent with their age and history. They show a characteristic patina that testifies to years of use, contributing to their authentic appearance. The construction is solid, and the chairs are fully functional, ready for a new purpose. Thanks to their timeless and minimalist design, this set is extremely versatile. The chairs are ideal as Dining chairs in a modern or industrial interior, but function equally well in an office, meeting room, or creative studio. They combine effortlessly with various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern to contemporary minimalism. Approx. 10 available, price per piece.
