Product description
Reuven Rubin – Visions de la Bible III – Signed Original Lithograph – 1972
Original color lithograph by Reuven Rubin (1893–1974), from the famous Visions of the Bible series, 1972.
A very beautiful original color lithograph by Reuven Rubin, from his famous Visions of the Bible series, created in 1972.
In this luminous composition, Rubin transposes the biblical narrative into his immediately recognizable universe: a character carrying an offering, two sheep, and three almost immaterial figures appear amidst lush vegetation.
Deep greens, luminous yellows, ochres, pinks, and blues blend with great softness. The drawing, for its part, retains the freedom and poetry characteristic of Rubin's graphic work.
Hand-signed in pencil by the artist in the lower right.
Mourlot print, Paris.
Dimensions: approx. 71.5 × 56 cm.
Copy without apparent numbering.
Very good overall condition, fresh and luminous colors.
Unframed.
Hand delivery possible or very carefully protected shipping.
