About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Offered is a set of ten original swivel chairs by the German manufacturer Wilkhahn. These pieces are representative of mid-20th century design, characterized by their sculptural form and striking color scheme. The combination of an organically shaped seat shell and a vibrant upholstery makes them an eye-catcher in any setting.
The construction of each chair consists of a beige plastic shell mounted on a stable, four-star swivel base made of aluminum. The central column is made of chrome-plated steel, creating an elegant contrast to the matte finish of the base. The seat is covered with an original, orange velvet fabric, which ensures comfortable seating and a warm feel. These chairs embody Wilkhahn's typical combination of ergonomic function and aesthetic appeal.
The overall condition of the set is to be rated as very good for its age. The chairs show an authentic patina that underlines their vintage character and bears witness to their history. The structure of all chairs is solid, and the swivel mechanisms are fully functional, making them ready for immediate use.
This ensemble is excellently suited as seating for a large dining table, as conference chairs in a stylish office, or as accent chairs in a living area. Their timeless retro design seamlessly integrates into modern, minimalist, or mid-century style interiors.
