A beautifully upcycled accent cabinet, originally crafted by the renowned Spanish furniture brand Banak. This versatile piece serves perfectly as a nightstand, a hallway console, or a striking side table that brings a pop of modern color to any space.
History & Restoration:
Originally constructed from solid exotic Mindi wood—a hallmark of Banak’s high-quality, tropical wood collections—this piece has been completely reimagined and redesigned by hand.
The main body and drawer fronts were painted with a premium Jade Green chalk paint. To achieve a contemporary, flawlessly smooth finish (completely avoiding the textured, brush-stroke look of traditional chalk paint), it was carefully roller-applied and then sealed with a highly durable, water-based matte varnish for daily protection.
To create a striking and warm contrast against the vibrant jade tone, the side panels were custom-fitted with natural, solid pine wood slats. This addition brings a beautiful, organic texture to the piece, bridging the gap between modern color blocking and natural wood aesthetics.
