Product description
This decorative table lamp dates back to the 1960s and represents a striking example of Czechoslovak "Mid-Century" production, blending technical modernism with period decorative elements. The base is made of hand-glazed ceramic featuring a characteristic flowing glaze technique that creates a unique, organic visual effect. This ceramic component is tastefully complemented by chrome-plated steel and a decorative textile lampshade with fringe, giving the lamp a touch of nostalgia and coziness typical of the living interiors of that time. The lamp's aesthetics are based on the contrast between the smooth, glossy surface of the ceramic and the soft texture of the lampshade, making it an unmissable interior solitaire. Thanks to professional restoration and a complete renewal of its electrical system, the lamp is not only visually attractive but also fully functional and safe for contemporary use. The expert intervention preserved the authentic character of the piece and ensured its technical reliability for many years of operation in a modern home. This piece represents not only functional lighting but primarily a stylish collector's artifact that carries the legacy of honest craftsmanship and the aesthetic sensibilities of the 1960s. Its collectible and utility value is significantly enhanced by its excellent restored condition, unique glaze execution, and the preservation of all original details. For its owner, the lamp is an investment in design history, serving as a striking accent in an interior with lasting artistic and market value. Ref.: 3926
