About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This design floor lamp, originating from the 1960s, represents an extraordinary, highly valued, and collector-attractive example of honest Czechoslovak design production. Its visual concept is carried in the characteristic spirit of the Mid-Century style, successfully blending timeless modern aesthetics with a strong, original, and at the time very popular inspiration from Asia. The overall shape impression and structural character of the lighting fixture are primarily defined by a precisely constructed and craft-refined body made of glossy chromed steel, shaped into an elegant arc and complemented by an effective fabric pleated lampshade. The item has undergone a complete, highly professional, and sensitive renovation carried out with the utmost regard for preserving its original historical authenticity and unique period character. Part of this professional care was a detailed and professional treatment including the thorough cleaning of all chromed parts, which perfectly emphasizes the natural beauty, cleanliness, and dazzling luster of the used metal. Thanks to this precise care and gentle handling, the lamp is in top technical and visual condition and fully ready for immediate and safe operation in any modern interior. In a contemporary interior, this solitaire stands out as an absolutely unmissable, dominant, and highly elegant element that perfectly combines top-tier craftsmanship with the unrepeatable genius loci of the 1960s. It imparts not only pleasant, softly diffused, and cozy lighting to the space, but above all an unmistakable charm, distinctive elegance, and the authentic atmosphere of a past era, which will be appreciated by every lover of quality design.
