About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This elegant pendant chandelier originates from the 1960s Czechoslovak design environment and is a typical representative of the "Mid-Century" era. The aesthetics of the fixture are based on a clean combination of brass elements and a round glass shade, creating a timeless and visually light whole that was highly characteristic of this period. With its simple yet sophisticated shape, the chandelier can create a striking design accent in a modern interior, underscoring its elegance and sense of detail.
The fixture has undergone professional restoration, which included a complete new electrification, including the revision of a standardized E27 socket, ensuring safety and long-term reliability for contemporary use. The sensitive restoration of the surfaces returned the brass parts to their original noble appearance and ensured that the glass globe is once again in perfect condition. Thanks to this technical upgrade, the chandelier is fully ready for immediate use while retaining its historical authenticity and craftsmanship quality.
Given its belonging to the iconic era of modernism and its excellent restored condition, this chandelier holds high collector and utility value. For design enthusiasts, it represents a stylish solitaire that carries the legacy of 1960s Czech design and functions as both practical lighting and a distinctive aesthetic accessory in an interior. Investing in this piece is not only a way to obtain high-quality lighting but also a means of bringing an authentic piece of history into the home that retains its value and prestige through its timelessness across generations.
