About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This elegant pendant chandelier originates from the 1950s Czechoslovak design environment and represents a refined example of the "Mid-Century" style. The aesthetics of the fixture are based on the harmonious combination of beech wood and milk glass, creating a warm and visually balanced whole that was highly characteristic of this period. With its sober and geometrically clean shape, the chandelier can create a sophisticated accent in an interior, underscoring its elegance and the high level of craftsmanship at the time.
The fixture has undergone professional restoration, which included a complete new electrification, including the revision of all four standardized E27 sockets, ensuring safety and long-term reliability for contemporary use. The sensitive restoration of the surfaces returned the beech elements to their natural beauty and ensured that the milk glass is once again in perfect condition and ready for even light diffusion. Thanks to this technical upgrade, the chandelier is fully ready for immediate use while retaining its historical authenticity and craftsmanship quality.
Given its belonging to the iconic era of modernism and its excellent restored condition, this chandelier holds high collector and utility value. For design enthusiasts, it represents a stylish solitaire that carries the legacy of 1950s Czech design and functions as both practical lighting and a distinctive aesthetic accessory in an interior. Investing in this piece is not only a way to obtain high-quality lighting but also a means of bringing an authentic piece of history into the home that retains its value and prestige through its timelessness across generations.
