ProfessionalProduct description
Artist: Eric Kirkman Cole
Socket: E27
This industrially styled and purposeful table lamp dates from the 1930s in Czechoslovakia, reflecting breakthrough innovations in the use of new synthetic materials. The architectural concept of the entire fixture is built upon a solid, molded base made of dark bakelite, from which a flexible steel neck rises to support an adjustable shade. The combination of smooth, tactile bakelite and metal elements lends the object industrial dynamics and raw elegance, while the flexible neck allows for easy adjustment of the light as needed for optimal task lighting.
The item has undergone a complete, highly professional restoration combined with thorough cleaning of all surfaces. Experienced restorers also carried out a completely new, professional electrification in strict accordance with valid standards, fully restoring one hundred percent safe functionality while preserving the absolute historical authenticity and value of this solitaire piece.
Thanks to its timeless functionalist morphology and compact dimensions, this table lamp serves as a highly practical yet decorative element. It stands out perfectly on a desk in a historic or modern study, as an original bedside lamp in a bedroom, or as a stylish solitaire in an interior emphasizing retro and industrial aesthetics, bringing the unmistakable atmosphere of interwar design into the space.
