This piano stool is an exceptionally rare and elegant piece of furniture designed in the pure Bauhaus style from the 1930s. It was manufactured in Czechoslovakia by the renowned Mücke - Melder company, which ranked among the absolute European elite in the production of bent steel furniture. The stool represents the perfect essence of functionalist design – merging a minimalist metallic structure with warm natural materials and absolute practicality.

The foundation of the stool consists of a subtle yet highly stable base made of tubular chrome-plated steel. As part of a professional restoration, the chrome was thoroughly cleaned and polished. A delicate, authentic patina was intentionally preserved to highlight the age and historical value of this collectible item.

The rotating circular seat is crafted from solid beech wood. The wooden surface underwent a sensitive refinement during which the original wood polish was revived, restoring the seat's deep tone, warm luster, and highlighting the natural grain of the beech wood. A major advantage is the adjustable height of the stool, managed by a robust steel threaded spindle. The mechanism is fully functional and lubricated. This stylish statement piece will serve perfectly not only by a piano but also as a designer desk stool or a unique interior accent.Minimum height: 56 cm (22 in)
Maximum height: 67.5 cm (26.6 in)
Diameter: 66.5 cm (26.2 in)

Ref.: 3134
