About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This Pair of Bauhaus Armchairs, Designed by Mart Stam, Exemplifies the Functionalist Ethos of 1930s German Design. The Cantilevered Silhouette, a Hallmark of the Era, Offers a Striking Visual Lightness While Maintaining Structural Integrity.
Constructed with a Tubular Chrome Frame, the Chairs Feature White Seats, Backs, and Armrests. The Combination of the Reflective Metal and the Crisp White Elements Creates a Clean, Modernist Aesthetic. The Chairs Are a Testament to the Innovative Use of Materials and Form That Defined the Bauhaus Movement.
The Chairs Are in Great Condition, Having Been Restored to Preserve Their Original Character. The Chrome Retains Its Shine, and the White Surfaces Are Well-Maintained, Reflecting Careful Use Over the Decades.
These Chairs Are Well-Suited for a Minimalist or Modernist Interior, Serving as Functional Seating in a Dining Area or as Sculptural Accents in a Living Space. Their Timeless Design Allows Them to Integrate Seamlessly with Both Vintage and Contemporary Furnishings. Professionally Cleaned Chrome. Newly Varnished to a High Gloss According to the Original Design by Architect Mart Stam.
