About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This restored Art Deco armchair, originating from the Czech Republic in the 1930s, exemplifies the era's commitment to both form and function. The piece features a striking silhouette defined by its continuous tubular chrome frame, which provides a sleek contrast to the warmth of the wooden elements. The armchair is constructed with a combination of beech, spruce, and walnut, showcasing a rich, polished finish on the armrests and side panels. Revitalized original polish. It has been newly upholstered in a dynamic, multi-coloured zigzag patterned textile, predominantly featuring shades of green, grey, and white. The tubular chrome frame forms a continuous loop, creating a cantilevered effect that is characteristic of modernist design from this period. The chair is in perfect, fully restored condition. The wooden components have been expertly refinished to highlight their natural grain, and the chrome frame has been professionally polished to a high shine. The new upholstery is pristine, ensuring the piece is ready for immediate use. This armchair serves as a striking focal point in both contemporary and classic interiors. Its geometric lines and vibrant upholstery make it an ideal addition to a living room, study, or reading nook, pairing exceptionally well with other modernist or Art Deco pieces. Ref.: 3268
