ProfessionalProduct description
This painting by René Rikkelman depicts an understated portrait, executed on a jute base subsequently mounted on linen. The work stands out due to the expressive texture and the raw, natural appearance of the material, which forms a striking contrast with the refined facial features of the woman depicted.
The composition is built using earth tones and white accents, with the coarse structure of the jute adding an extra dimension to the portrait. The work is signed by the artist in the lower right corner and is presented against a dark background that emphasizes the frayed edges of the jute.
This artwork fits perfectly into a modern or eclectic interior where natural materials and expressive art enrich the space. It forms a powerful visual element on the wall, ideal for a living room or study.
