Product description
This is a collection of 55 graphic works by the French artist René Lannoy. The collection showcases the expressive and figurative style characteristic of the artist, focusing on the human form and emotion. The works range from monochrome etchings to multi-colored lithographs, offering a broad overview of his oeuvre.
These are 2 engravings, several of which are in editions, see photos.
Each work in this extensive set is printed on paper and personally signed by the artist. The prints were published in limited editions, as visible from the handwritten numbering on the examples shown, including editions of 75 and 80 pieces. The collection includes both black-and-white compositions with deep contrasts and works where colors such as blue and beige are used to accentuate abstract forms.
The prints are in very good condition, carefully preserved over the years. The hand-deckled edges of the paper are intact, and the colors and inks have remained bright and vibrant. The signature and edition numbering are clearly legible on each piece, confirming the authenticity and provenance of the works.
This collection is a significant acquisition for lovers of Belgian post-war art and graphic art. The works can be framed individually or presented as a cohesive series, forming an impressive gallery wall in a living space, office, or study.
