Product description
Expressive graphite drawing by René Knapen, featuring a surreal composition of three faces above an inverted figure with outstretched hands. Delicate pencil lines contrast with densely shaded facial features against a warm-toned paper background. Presented behind glass with a dark mount and an ornate black and gold-toned frame, the work combines an intriguing subject with a striking decorative presence. Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Brussels Arts Group – Galerie Claude Jongen / Galerie De Greef, identifying René Knapen as the artist and the medium as graphite pencil. The certificate also references an exhibition at Galerie De Greef in 1975. ● Artist: René Knapen ● Medium: Graphite pencil on paper ● Artwork dimensions: Approximately 61 × 77.1 cm, as recorded on the certificate ● Frame: Decorative black and gold-toned frame with dark mount and glazing ● Documentation: Accompanied by gallery certificate of authenticity Please refer to the photographs for details of the artwork, frame and condition.
