Renato Meneghetti, born in Rosà (Vicenza) in 1947, is a multifaceted and conceptual artist active internationally, known for a visual language that merges painting, installation, and technological experimentation. Self-taught in painting, he also trained in architecture and design under the guidance of Carlo Scarpa in Venice, developing a creative approach that traverses genres and techniques. His most recognizable hallmark is the use of radiographic plates overlaid on paintings or transparent supports such as plexiglass—a practice that reveals a hidden dimension of the image and invites the viewer to look beyond the surface, transforming the body, memory, and the artwork itself into a field of poetic and conceptual investigation.
