This rare, organically shaped design bowl (model 1386) is an iconic Mid-Century Modern object, designed by the renowned Dutch glassmaker and designer Floris Meydam (1919-2011) for the "Regina" Art Pottery Factory in Gouda. The object embodies the experimental and innovative design philosophy of the period 1945-1970. During these years, Regina made a name for itself with progressive designs that perfectly suited the modern, post-war interior style.
