Product description
Vintage "Tutti Frutti" Chandelier – Fully Restored – Glass Fruit Pendants
For sale: a magnificent vintage basket chandelier (1950s-60s) with an elegant and playful design, adorned with its famous fruit-shaped pendants. This light fixture has undergone a complete and meticulous restoration, combining the charm of the old with the reliability of a new one.
A unique piece in perfect condition, with no missing or chipped pendants.
Highlights & Restorations Performed:
Rewired: The wiring has been completely redone for total safety and immediate use.
High-Quality Sockets: The original plastic socket covers have been replaced with gold-tone metal sockets (candle-effect style with drips), which are much higher quality and more durable.
Enhanced Ornamentation: A new chain of faceted crystals has been added to enhance the light diffusion and provide an extra touch of elegance. Meticulous Finish: All the crystal drops (frosted grapes, pears, and plums in colored glass) have been cleaned and reattached with new gold-plated wire fasteners.
Technical Specifications:
Materials: Patinated brass frame, solid blown glass fruit.
Dimensions: Height 59 cm | Width 31 cm (branch to branch).
Lighting: 3 light points (E14 small sockets).
Condition: Impeccable, ready to hang. The chain and tube show some minor pitting, but this is an antique chandelier and it's not noticeable when hung.
This chandelier is an ideal centerpiece for a Hollywood Regency, bohemian chic, or contemporary interior.
Carefully packaged for shipping.
