About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
An elegant drop-leaf table in the classic English Regency style (early 'Regency Revival' period approx. 1920-1950).
The tabletop has a very expressive, flaming wood grain with a natural 'eye' in the center and is equipped with a functional drawer.
The base consists of a classic central column leg that extends into a sturdy four-legged base with graceful saber legs, which are chicly finished with brass claw feet and equipped with swivel castors. This makes the table very easy to move.
The table is very flexible in use. The dimensions of the tabletop are 98 x 57 cm when folded and 98 x 113 cm when unfolded, but it is also possible to unfold a single side leaf.
On the underside, and completely out of sight, there is a heavy cast-iron reinforcing cross to hold the saber legs together. The drop-leaf table has a wooden hinge system.
The wood shows light signs of use.
