Product description
UNIQUE! Very rare reupholstered design set from the Dutch TOP brand Montis. This Montis Quintus set consists of two mirrored chaise longues and a two-seater sofa. With these elements, you can create various arrangements, including a corner sofa variant (see photos).
The Montis Quintus is a design by Gerard van den Berg (1980s).
We have had these unique eye-catchers reupholstered with first-class quality supple Ohmann leather. The seating and lying surfaces have been fitted with completely new foam. The rest of the sofa has been refilled.
Are you looking for the ultimate resting point in your interior without compromising on sleek, Dutch Design? The Montis Quintus chaise longue combines generous relaxation with the iconic, elegant lines for which the Dutch design house Montis is known.
The Story Behind the Design
The Quintus was designed in the 1980s by Montis co-founder and top designer Gerard van den Berg. His philosophy revolves around the balance between craftsmanship, ergonomics, and design. With the Quintus, he introduced a characteristic postmodern design: sleek, inviting contours combined with a generous seat that optimally supports the body. Thanks to the thoughtful design with raised backrests and armrests, the Quintus forms a sheltered place where you can wonderfully curl up with a book, or simply enjoy your evening with your feet up.
