The glass vase was made in the 1970s in Denmark.
A striking decorative glass vase in a vibrant, energetic shade of red. It has a simple, modernist form with a cylindrical base and a gently flaring top, giving it the distinctive, ‘designer’ profile typical of 1970s glassware. The transparent glass plays beautifully with light, and the deep colour makes the vase look like a bold, jewel-like accent in any interior. It is the perfect addition to mid-century modern, retro and modern classic schemes, but also works well as a contrast in minimalist spaces. It looks stunning on its own as a glass sculpture, as well as with a small bouquet, a single twig or a dried flower arrangement.
