Elegant vase in red Murano glass with plant decorations simulating tree branches with flowers.
This unique piece features an inner layer of whitish glass, which intensifies the red tone of the exterior. The slender surface of the piece exhibits a delicate decoration simulating the branches of a flowering tree. An interesting contrast is created between the white, purple, and brown tones of the branches, the orange-red of the flowers, and the intense red of the background.
This vase is an ideal decorative accessory for any home space where a touch of luxury is desired, a piece that enhances Italian craftsmanship and good taste.
Murano glass
Venetian glass is the result of a fascinating combination of artisanal tradition and sophisticated industrial techniques, uniting manual skill with technological innovation. This fusion, which has endured throughout the centuries, is the heart of the rich tradition of Italian glass. The famous Murano glass was born from a prohibition: although glass had been made in Venice for centuries, in 1291, during the Republic of Venice, its production was forbidden in the city to prevent fires due to the high temperatures of the furnaces and to keep the art of glass a secret, forcing all glassmakers to move to Murano and for production to take place exclusively in this location.
