Rare and splendid large rectangular serving platter with handles
in art stoneware from the renowned Swedish manufacturer Deco Hälsingborg.
Created by the acclaimed designer Bengt Johansson in the 1960s-1970s,
this modernist period piece captivates with its superb
glossy reactive glaze in olive green and moss. Its clean lines
elegantly incorporate two solid side handles, hallmarks
of Scandinavian functional and graphic design.
The underside bears the original period stamped mark
"Deco Made in Sweden - Halsingborg" as well as its original
artisanal firing marks. A magnificent piece, robust
and highly decorative.
