Private sellerProduct description
Splendid mid-20th century hanging chandelier, an authentic jewel of Italian lighting design. Characterized by a dynamic and highly scenic structure, this piece perfectly embodies the sophisticated elegance, the astronomical/space taste typical of the era, and the Milanese craftsmanship of the 1950s. The Curved Wooden Sails: The element of greatest value and originality is given by the shaped wings in curved oak plywood that embrace the light points. This organic detail softens the geometry of the structure and creates a wonderful contrast with the metals. Atomic and Elegant Geometry: The radial structure develops the light points oriented outwards. The chromatic and material contrast between the warm finish of the brass details, the rigor of the black lacquered metal (typical of the Stilnovo monogram) and the warmth of the wood gives an incredible visual impact both when on and off. Light Diffusion: The large white satin opal glass globes diffuse a warm, soft and perfectly homogeneous light, ideal for sophisticatedly illuminating a dining room, a large living room or a representative entrance.
