A unique vintage mosaic table, manufactured by Karl Orgus in Dresden, Germany. This piece is characterized by its artfully designed tabletop and the material combination typical of the mid-century.
The tabletop consists of flashed glass mosaic shards set in marble cement, forming a central medallion and geometric accents. The frame is made of elastic maple wood, which, according to the manufacturer's label, was treated with a “Mattina Launa Erzeugnis”. The base is made of chrome-plated metal, giving the table a clear, modern line. The color palette is a mix of predominantly white and cream tones with multicolored details.
This table is in very good condition, consistent with its age and careful use. The mosaic surface is intact and retains its original coloring and luster. The wood and chrome frame show the character of an authentic vintage furniture piece.
