A beautifully designed set of teak dining chairs manufactured in Denmark c1960s. The chairs feature stylish curved ‘bow back’ legs to the rear combined with sculptured ‘bow-tie’ ladder back cross rails for added comfort epitomising classic timeless Danish design principles.
The teak has matured naturally to create unique tones and shades and highlighting the grain. The chairs have therefore been sympathetically restored to retain their unique qualities and refinished in satin whilst the seats have been reupholstered in black leatherette vinyl. The original makers mark SOS Made in Denmark authenticating the chairs remains visible.
The chairs are structurally strong and in good condition with minor age related marks as expected.
