ProfessionalProduct description
This original painting by L. Dumond follows in the stylistic tradition of Henri Rousseau, offering a naive and luxuriant interpretation of flora and fauna. The work captivates the viewer with its dense and dreamlike composition, characteristic of figurative art inspired by tropical landscapes. Executed on canvas, this piece depicts a variety of animals, including a rhinoceros, deer, and exotic birds, inhabiting a stylized jungle of vibrant colors. The rich chromatic palette, dominated by deep greens, intense blues, and touches of pink and yellow, lends the whole an almost surreal dimension. The work is signed by the artist in the lower corner and is presented in a gilt metal frame. The painting is in very good condition, retaining the brilliance of its original colors. The frame has a natural patina that testifies to its authenticity without detracting from the visual impact of the work (this piece was exhibited in a Parisian gallery in the 1970s). This impressive canvas will naturally find its place in any interior. It makes an ideal focal point for a living room or office, bringing a touch of escapism and poetry to the space.
