A rare pair of hand-decorated polychrome ceramic figurines in the Capodimonte style, dating from the first half of the 1960s. Signed and marked on the bottom, they depict a young peasant boy and a young peasant woman. The subject is part of the Italian pastoral tradition, derived from 19th-century Neapolitan sculpture.
