Product description
Rare pair (2x) Vintage Florian Schulz 'Dona' Brass Uplighters (1979) A beautiful and rare pair (set of 2) of exclusive vintage brass uplighters by the renowned German designer Florian Schulz, model 'Dona' from 1979. These monumental Floor lights are absolute design classics and an eye-catcher in any high-end or Hollywood Regency interior. The fixture is characterized by elegantly curved, double brass rods that gracefully curl in loops over the heavy, oval natural stone base at the bottom. The organically shaped brass cups (shades) are tiltable, allowing the light to be beautifully and desirably diffused via the ceiling or walls. Specifications: • Designer: Florian Schulz (Germany) • Model: Dona (design 1979) • Material: Solid brass, sheet brass, oval natural stone/slate base • Height: Approx. 180 cm • Socket: R7s (suitable for halogen rods or dimmable R7s LED lamps) • Operation: Equipped with floor dimmer/switch. (not entirely original) Condition of the lamps: The lamps are optically in a beautiful vintage condition with an authentic patina appropriate for their age. The brass cups shine beautifully and are free of dents or scratches. The natural stone bases are also completely intact without chips or cracks. Please note: the lamps are sold as untested/functionality unknown, as I currently do not have the correct R7s bulbs (light sources) to demonstrate them.
