About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
Mid-century floor lamp, A rare and sculptural lighting piece, distinguished by its impressive height and refined industrial elegance. Originating from a former Russian hotel, the lamp was originally part of a small and exclusive set of just six pieces, making this example a true collector’s item. The design features a distinctive three-legged base with elegant hairpin-style brass supports, converging into a multi-tube vertical frame. At the top, three generously sized brass shades extend outward on curved arms, each fully adjustable to direct light as desired. The lamp’s proportions and balance give it a strong architectural presence while remaining visually light and sophisticated. Over time, the brass has developed a rich, natural patina that enhances its character and authenticity, highlighting its age and history. Likely crafted by a local metalworker or small workshop, this lamp was produced in extremely limited numbers, probally only for the original hotel interior. A unique and atmospheric statement piece, this floor lamp blends functionality with sculptural beauty and brings a sense of history and understated luxury to any interior.
