Product description
A rare pair of IKEA snake-shaped egg cups, designed and produced in 1999 and made in Vietnam.
The colorful, hand-painted figures in purple, green, and yellow reflect the playful Memphis and postmodern style of the late 1990s at IKEA. 🐍✨
Both pieces are in very good vintage condition – nothing broken or damaged.
A slight clinking sound can be heard inside when moved (presumably minimal material residue from production, not affecting stability).
One snake has a fine craquelure in the glaze in its mouth – only superficial, not cracked.
The original IKEA stickers on the bottom (item no. 000.276.36, © 1999, Made in Vietnam) are still present – a true rarity!
