Product description
This cylindrical Fornasetti table lamp, crafted from hand-screen-printed metal and brass, embodies the poetic and surreal elegance of the renowned Italian company. The celestial Sole e Luna motif, designed by Piero Fornasetti in the early 1950s during his collaboration with Gio Ponti, lends this piece an undeniable historical and artistic dimension. Made of cream-colored enameled metal with brass accents, this 2022 limited edition measures 43 cm in height and 10 cm in diameter. It is fitted with an E27 socket (max 60W, 220-240V) and retains its original label under the base, attesting to its authenticity and Italian origin. The poetic inscription in Italian along the cylinder adds a unique narrative touch. The lamp is presented in impeccable condition, reflecting meticulous care. The brass finish retains its full luster, and the screen-printed design is perfectly intact, attesting to the quality of craftsmanship of this special edition. Ideal for illuminating a high-end residential interior, this lamp will find its place on a luxurious bedside table or a carefully curated sideboard. It integrates harmoniously into spaces celebrating Italian design and modernism, alongside creations by Ettore Sottsass or Carlo Mollino.
