Rare set of 7 Galvanitas wall-mounted folding seats - circa 1970, Dutch manufacture from Oosterhout, circa 1970. Very beautiful design combining a molded wooden seat with a solid metal structure. Each seat is equipped with an ingenious spring mechanism allowing the seat to automatically lift after use. Width: 37.7 cm. Their small footprint when folded makes them perfect for spaces where every centimeter counts: boat, houseboat, tiny house lot, converted van, bar, hallway or professional space. Very beautiful functional furniture with Dutch industrial design from the 60s/70s, patina and traces of use consistent with their age.
