Not easy to find, rare chair designed in 1932 by Dutch interior architect and industrial designer Cor Alons (1892-1967).
They called it the ‘conversation chair’ as it is not lounge chair but it is more of a relaxed active seating which indeed serves perfect for a nice conversation sitting in it 🙂
This chair on sale here it not from the early 30s but from the 50s when Oostwoud (Franeker, The Netherlands) produced them.
Chromed tubular metal frame, black wooden armrests, upholstered with a black fabric.
The chair has been newly upholstered, its seat not done very nicely though but easy to renew or fix. Frame in a very nice condition.
