Rare 1st Empire solid bronze Egyptian sphinx wall light. Rare large 1st Empire period solid bronze wall light with a caryatid in antique style. 18th century. An Egyptian-headed sphinx. The back arms are decorated with griffins. Lion's head on the bottom of the wall light. Spectacular model, beautiful chiseling of great finesse, superb patina. Wall light by Claude Galle from the years 1808. Electrification may need to be reviewed. Height 57cm and width 35cm depth 12cm
