Product description
A vintage Fuga XL wall light, designed by the Finnish architect Maija Liisa Komulainen for the Dutch manufacturer Raak Amsterdam. This 1960s design is an icon of the Space Age era, known for its modular, organ pipe-inspired silhouette. This specific configuration consists of three columns, made of brushed aluminum with a warm bronze and copper-colored finish. The lamp has a height of 60 cm, a width of 29 cm, and a depth of 11 cm. The inside of each tube is painted white to optimally reflect the light. The fixture is equipped with six E27 sockets, two per tube, which create an atmospheric indirect light effect upwards and downwards. The item is in very good vintage condition, retaining its original finish and the character that defines Raak's designs. The modular system of the Fuga series, a characteristic of the manufacturer, makes it possible to create various compositions by combining or detaching the elements. Due to its sculptural form and warm, indirect glow, this wall light is a statement piece that fits perfectly in a hallway, living room, or office. The design complements interiors in Mid-Century Modern, Dutch Design, or an eclectic style.
