This charming small wooden box evokes memories of travel souvenirs that one used to bring back from grand French historical sites. Its lid depicts the majestic Château de Fontainebleau, in a composition with golden hues enhanced by pyrography details, which lend it all the charm of mid-20th century artisanal creations. The sides are decorated with a hand-pyrographed frieze, while the natural wood interior has remained simple and functional. It will easily find its place on a desk, a dressing table, or in a collection dedicated to old souvenirs, French heritage, or vintage decorative objects. This box retains a beautiful presence despite the marks of time. There are a few small chips and signs of wear on the corners and edges, as well as slight usage scratches on the lid's varnish.
