Rare large earthenware platter from Soufflenheim, France, decorated with a floral motif in low relief and glazed in sky blue/mauve, signed by Prosper Joseph Walter, who worked at the Sèvres porcelain factory as a decorator before joining Léon Elchinger's workshop in Soufflenheim between 1930 and 1934, the period during which this platter was created.
