Product description
A small piece of a French bistro, the kind that evokes Formica countertops, summer terraces, and the aperitif ritual. This vintage advertising pitcher features Pernod 45 Anisette on one side and Pastis 51 Anisette on the other. Its deep blue, highlighted by a cream yellow trim and white raised lettering, gives it that immediately recognizable aesthetic of 1970s-1980s café advertising items. Made of molded plastic, its design is particularly well-executed with its almost cubic silhouette, angular spout, and wide integrated handle. A popular item that is now a lovely testament to the history of French cafés and their advertising accessories. It retains traces of its past use: the cream yellow trim exhibits age-related yellowing, accompanied by some marks and scuffs from use. An old label residue is also visible on one of the blue sides. These marks are shown in the photographs and contribute to the history of this authentic bistro item. Dimensions: approximately 14 cm high and 10 cm wide at the opening.
