Refined lithograph from the mid-19th century (circa 1840-1860), depicting Saint Paul the Apostle (St. Paul). This is an original work from the period, produced by the famous Parisian printing house of François-Marie Dopter, active in the historic printers' quarter in Paris. The quality of the line work and the definition of the details (stipple technique for the chiaroscuro of the face) testify to the high level of French liturgical publishing of the Romantic period.
