This beautiful compartmentalized pressed glass dish transports us back to the elegance of Art Deco table settings from around . A period when geometric forms, symmetry, and structured ornamentation permeated everyday objects, including serving pieces. Its design is particularly captivating. At its center, a large starburst composition organizes the entire design. Around it, radiating points, crosshatch patterns, grids, and multiple facets succeed one another, creating a play of precisely crafted raised patterns. The subtly undulating rim softens this geometric construction and lends the dish an elegant silhouette. But it is truly under the light that the piece truly comes to life. The raised patterns capture reflections, the motifs appear to gain depth, and the glass becomes almost sparkling.
